Philip Forrest / Chairman
Philip Forrest is the non-Executive Chairman of Readymix and ReadyVentures. He is also a non-executive director of several Singapore
Companies, and one ASX-listed company. After a career in banking (including as Citibank's Country Head in Thailand
and ANZ's Head of Asia), he is now a Singapore-based independent company director focused on the Australia/ASEAN
commercial relationship. He has been presented with the President's Medal by the Australian Chamber of Commerce,
Singapore for his contribution to the Asia/Australia business relations. He is also an Honorary Fellow of the Australian
Institute for Business and Economics.
Nick Cocks / Chief Executive Officer
Nick is a founder and the Chief Executive Officer of Readymix and ReadyVentures. Nick started his career in 1985
as an accountant with Arthur Andersen Co in Sydney, Australia. He left the profession in 1989 to join his father's
readymix concrete business in Adelaide, Australia. Six months later they sold the company to Adelaide Brighton Cement
and Nick turned his attention to South East Asia. He has lived and worked in the region since, developing business in
Australia, Brunei, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Vietnam.
Jon Cocks / Director
Jon has been involved with Readymix since 1994 and has held roles in Operations, IT, Accounting and Project Management.
Jon comes from a family of entrepreneurs and started his first small business at age 17 while studying Mechanical
Engineering, and later Robotics, at Sydney University. Jon is a member of Mensa Singapore and is currently the Admin &
Finance Director for the Readymix Group of companies. Jon is a founder and shareholder of Readymix and ReadyVentures.
Bennett Lee / Investment Director
Bennett has almost a decade of Private Equity & Venture Capital, Investment Banking and Equity Research experience across the Technology, Financial Services, Consumer,
Healthcare and F&B sectors. He has executed over ~20 IPOs, PE/VC, Restructuring and M&A transactions with a combined value of more than ~US$400million.
Prior to joining Ready Ventures, Bennett was an Investment Director with Caber Partners where he evaluated and executed Private Equity investment opportunities in the Financial Services and Technology sectors in Asia. Before Caber Partners, he was an Investment Associate at Golden Equator Capital, a mid-market Private Equity and Venture Capital firm where he focused on growth equity investments in a wide range of industries in Southeast Asia. He has also worked in UOB and BNP Paribas in Equity Research and Investment Banking roles respectively.
Bennett holds a B.A. in Economics from the National University of Singapore and is a graduate of the University of Oxford, Saïd Business School Fintech Programme. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations. Bennett is currently a CAIA Singapore Chapter Executive and also sits on the CFA Singapore Career Development Committee.

Suwarni Tho/ Group Financial Controller
Suwarni joined Readymix in June 2012 and was promoted to Group Financial Controller in August 2016. She has more than 13 years’ experience in accountancy and audit in both Singapore and Malaysia and
has worked with a range of companies from small startups to large multinationals across the Asia Pacific region. She holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) from University of Bolton, United Kingdom.
Suwarni supports ReadyVentures startups with their accounting systems, information systems, statutory submissions and grant applications.
